“Chanson Trottoir, one of the best live bands of Cologne”
— Kölner Stadtanzeiger
Chanson Trottoir
Madrid, Paris, Cologne! And then? Quique Carrica gets himself a guitar and begins to enchant the streets of Cologne’s Südstadt with the French chansons he brought
back from Paris. He quickly finds kindred spirits, founds CHANSON TROTTOIR and has been conquering the stages of Cologne and Germany ever since.
The band have long since replaced the songs from Paris with their own chansons. Their lyrics are often poetic and tell stories of urban life, while their melodies are both thought-provoking and invite you to dance.
The unmistakable style of CHANSON TROTTOIR combines the melancholy of traditional French chansons with the energy of punk and the modern sounds of Indie rock.
This explosive mix creates a unique experience that appeals to both old and new generations. Their performances are a celebration of emotions that transports the audience into a world of passion and dynamism.
With a steadily growing fan base and two albums under their belt, CHANSON TROTTOIR are ready to continue conquering the music world and spreading their message of freedom and joie de vivre.

Das neue Album
Chanson Trottoir has picked up a scent, wandering off the sidewalk now and then, following whimsically adorned paths that lead to dreamily imaginative places.
“L’Araignée (The Spider)” will be their second studio album — a more mature and personal work.
Colorful synthesizers, reverb-soaked electric guitars, bouncing and carefree bass lines, and drums that join the mix, reinforcing the Trottoirs’ new musical attitude…
Surreal lyrics, interludes, spoken word.
Close your eyes and smile.
Elements of bohemian punk, electronic songs, and always an invitation to dance.
